Start-ups, small businesses, and more are asked to demonstrate their new working models, rather than the typical 9-to-5 cubicle life.

Instead of submitting a boring old video or slide show, we submitted our Prezi Presentation, “A New Way to Work: The RememberItNow! Model”

Check it out, let us know what you think, and vote for us too!

Software from the Patient Perspective - Our New Leading Role

Pam recently had a great interview with John Farrell, of MobileHealthWatch.com.  So we couldn’t wait to share the news of our coverage in his two articles, “Software from a Patient’s Point of View“, and  ”Health Care Consumers Look to SMS”.  These have been featured in HealthCareGoesMobile.com and ScottishHealthCare.com too.

We were really flattered Mobile Health Watch covered us because they are known for only covering “mobility products that will revolutionize access to healthcare information.”

To be under their consideration as a revolutionary product is so rewarding.

In Farrell’s article, “Software from the Patient’s Point of View“, you can read about his observationthat, “RememberItNow! promises to be an extremely easy to use health care management tool”

Farrell is right. We do promise to be extremely easy-to-use. Every person in America has the right to take control of their health. And it’s why RememberItNow! is designed for anyone to use, no matter what age you are.

In his report, Farrell also notes, “SMS text messaging is expected to reach 3,200 billion messages per year by 2014″, he adds, “it will be interesting to see how quickly the technology’s presence mushrooms.”

We really do hope our presence mushrooms into a great big positive impact. If we are all taking the steps to improve medication compliance already, maybe we are revolutionizing healthcare more than we realize.  Soon we will all truly be able to take control of our health.

On the Radar - RememberItNow!

Pamela Swingley - October 6, 2009

aging in place logo On the Radar RememberItNow!RememberItNow! is now on the radar of Laurie Orlov, the leading industry analyst for aging in place technologies.

Laurie is a tech industry veteran, elder care advocate and founder of Aging in Place Technology Watch. She provides thought leadership, analysis and guidance about technologies and related services that enable boomers and seniors to remain longer in their home.

Laurie and I bumped into each other in the roaring dot-com days, when I was directing marketing for On-Link, an eCommerce startup, and she was an analyst at Forrester Research.

The rapidly expanding elder care market shares similarities with the early eCommerce days. I see many opportunities for vendors in this space, and lots of consolidation ahead. Laurie’s work really helps to clarify the market.

It’s great to make the list.
