Why do some of my contacts have stars next to them?
How do I use the stars? What do the stars mean?
Stars allow you to highlight and quickly find the most important contacts in your address book. When setting up a new contact, check the “Important” box with the star next to it for those contacts that are important to you.
You can add a star to people you contact most, to organize emergency contacts, or to flag contacts for follow-up. It’s up to you how you use the stars. Contacts designated as “Important” will then appear with the star next to them in your Contact dashboard, as shown below.

Also, you can also retrieve a list of all important contacts by selecting the “Stars” group from the “Display” drop-down menu.
